Let me open this post by saying thank you to everyone who entered the Mirrorball Swing Photo Competition.
We received nine utterly fantastic entries, with some contestants even taking a few extra photos just to show off their marvelous creativity! You guys most certainly know how to pull out all the stops and come up with something fantastic.
Below are all the entries we received, in lovely, alphabetical order.

We love Amanda’s sneakily understated photo. Not only do her nails match the colour of her CD, but she managed to sneak in the original cover art for Mirrorball Swing as a reflection in her eyes. Genius!

If there was a prize for most photographs taken and put together in a sort of animation to the backing music of a cover of FlashGun, this entry would win that prize. An incredible effort on all fronts. So many awesome pictures! And jokes! And music! Wonderful stuff.

A beautifully simple idea. Glittery and trippy. A lovely tribute to one of the highlights on the album. Love it!

Matt and I were both speechless when we saw this. I’m still struggling to describe what I’m seeing. The best I can come up with is EPIC IN ALL THE WAYS!

The effort Josh and his friends have put into this video is just staggering. It kind of made me emotional seeing the group of them all working so hard and talking about how they enjoyed our songs. *sniff*

No one does vlogs like Sarah. I love her excitement in this one. Sorry, Sarah, I wasn’t able to send you Matt Smith in a box on this occasion. Matt Slade in a box is better, in my humble opinion.
9. SUZANNOSAURUSREX, JURASSIC PARK
9 out of 10 cats prefer Mirrorball Swing.
I don’t even want to know how Suzanne managed to get her cat (that I have met, she’s a nutter) to pose for this one. Amazing animal training skills!

Lol brilliant photos jesse’s is my favourite. I just wish I’d managed to get all the mirrorball swing writing in the photo, but alas the cat wouldn’t play ball and that’s the best I could do 🙂
